Not only did this I receive this watch in tree days, I received an excellent quality watch for less than half it's stranded price. I originality suspected that there was some marring of the surface to account for the low price but, I received a watch in pristine condition with an extra battery. all in all this has been one of the best transactions on this site I have ever had, with the speed of service, the quality of the item, and the low price this was an excellent find.

No, it's not likely as durable as the $200+ models but it's keeping time just fine so far, it's nice and heavy (for a cheepie) and it's quite smart looking! I like the clear cover as it will save some wear on the hinges. If it doesn't last long, I'm not out a bunch and I can replace it. It saves my husband from using "The Good Watch" when he's out working. Update: the review was written at Christmas and now it's March 20th and it's dead. New batteries don't even help and it hasn't even been out of the house yet. The insert from the manufacturing company has a nice guarantee standing behind it but the website no longer exists. Still, I'm not out much and my toddler get's a new toy so it still has some usefulness.

Skeleton Black Pocket Watch Chain Mechanical Hand Wind Half Hunter Vintage Look Value Quality - PW19

When the watch first arrived it was packaged in a way that would suggest it is much more fragile than reality, no complaints (I'm glad the shipper cared as much). The watch has a very impressive face and my girlfriend was immediately stunned by it's appearance. The size is just as expected, if you've seen a pocket watch before, then it is perhaps a bit smaller than traditional. I compared it to my grandfathers and it was just slightly smaller, but that's one type as well. The only con I've taken with it thus far is the chain and clip, they feel a bit cheap especially in comparison with the rest of the quality, but for an 80 dollar watch much more than adequate. I've found the watch to be quite accurate for time and it ends up stealing much of mine as I admire it's beauty.

On a whim one day, I looked up pocket watches to see if I would be able to find a reasonably priced one that wouldn't look like garbage. When I came across this watch I was impressed with how it looked in the pictures. When I received it, it looked better than I could have expected for a $40 watch. Ive only had it for a week, so its hard to say how quality a product it is overall, but so far, it looks beautiful, keeps great time, and brightens my day with the mere novelty of possessing it. Aesthetically, the watch looks truly antique and has a look like it belongs in the movie Hugo. The only potential downsides I can see right now are that the chain feels a bit flimsy and that the face of the watch is made of plastic. Despite my potential misgivings, this watch has been an awesome purchase and I have no regrets.

the watch stopped working after about a week. I was very careful when winding it. The ring on top also fell off. My original review was less then flattering about this watch, but the company took the time to read my review and send me a new watch. I love it. the look and feel of the watch is excellent. I really appreciate a company tat goes out of its way to make a customer happy.

I received this watch promptly and on time and I am extremely pleased with it. It is slightly darker than the picture that is shown but in my opinion it looks even better in person! I wear mine on a long necklace and I get so many compliments on it when I wear it. I love this pocket watch and have no regrets at all about purchasing it.

Skeleton Pocket Watch Mechanical Movement Hand Wind Roman Numerals Full Hunter Silver Tone Classic Engravable - PW20

This is my first pocket watch as well, and I mostly bought it for the novelty of having a mechanical pocket watch. It works as expected, and winds up well. I haven't had it long, but it seems to keep time accurately so far. It comes with some plastic covers to protect the metal and 'glass' windows from scratches during shipping or whatnot. I say 'glass' because the windows actually seem to be made out of a plastic. Glass would have been much classier, but I suppose that's what you get from an actually affordable pocket watch.

The case is silver-tone and is likely steel or steel-aluminum alloy. The front and back covers are both spring-loaded and both are released simultaneously via a button at the top of the stem, above the crown. The outside of the case proper as well as the outside surfaces of the front and back covers are flat and appear to me to be slightly burnished. They seem to be somewhat resistant to fingerprints, but an occasional cleaning with a lint free cloth or handkerchief should be all that is required to maintain a good finish. The inside of both back and front covers has a simulated "hammered" texture. Either/both covers look like they would take an engraving well if you were to present this as a gift to someone.
